Continuing the adventure with The Lost Legacy.
Just a year after the release of Uncharted 4 in 2016, fans were taken on yet another Uncharted adventure with the release of “The Lost Legacy”, August 22. Initially intended to be downloadable content for Uncharted 4 only, it became evident as the production evolved that it could clearly hold it’s own as a standalone title of the franchise.
Fans everywhere flooded their social media feeds with pictures and videos of the newest addition to Naughty Dog’s award-winning roster, leaving artists from the Studio of Secret 6, beaming with pride.
Proud to be the team behind the scenes, Secret 6, a 12-year-old game development studio based in Manila, created over 100 assets, including two of the game’s key cinematics along with hero assets (assets that involve significant main character interaction).
First revealed was the ferry whose interiors and exteriors were created from scratch by Secret 6, initially, for the Riverboat Revelation Cinematic Trailer released last April. Soon after, another trailer was released in August, featuring other cinematic assets, such as, the Shoreline helicopter, the jeep which the main characters use to travel around the impressive open world in.
Now, with this game’s release, players from all over the globe, get to explore a whole new environment, defend the main characters with the numerous weapons inventory, interact with props, treasures and take in the unique graphics which help make this adventure-filled game, as real and as thrilling as ever!
Also, watch out for a documentary on the Secret 6’s work for the Uncharted series coming soon.
