Responsibilities:

  • Conduct efficient research and evaluation, and understand technical constraints and impact of designs
  • Create clear and concise proposals or pitches, guides, documentation, screen flows, and wireframes of game features, systems, and UI, to levels
  • Properly and efficiently communicate and present designs to internal project teams and external partners and clients
  • Assist in ensuring the game quality, project progress, and user experience through various testing methods, such as usability testing and playtesting
  • Develop engaging designs and gameplay aligned to the set goals of the project or product and within production constraints
  • Implement designs using in-house tools and plug-ins and create prototypes of designs
  • Assist in the development of design processes and best practices

Requirements:

  • A systems-thinking and UX mindset
  • Has mental agility and adaptability in problem-solving and understanding and adapting to the ever-changing game industry landscape
  • Has enthusiasm and clear-cut passion for playing, developing games, and player experience
  • Strong communication skills-- listening, providing and receiving feedback, and articulating thoughts and ideas
  • Proficient in written and verbal English
  • A team player; able to work collaboratively across various disciplines
  • Proficient in using word processing and spreadsheet tools, with working knowledge of wireframing and graphic editing tools
  • At least over a year of industry experience as a game designer or any role in the game industry
