Identify UX problems and craft creative ways to solve them
Create, establish, and maintain clear and concise user-centric layouts and flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and both team and external-facing documentation that clearly convey ideas
Translate goals and constraints into compelling player-facing features and work alongside programmers, game designers, and artists to develop these features
Plan and organize, conduct, and prepare results and analysis for user research and testing activities
Present and pitch UX designs to the team, producers, leadership, and clients
Assist in the development of UX design processes and best practices
Conduct efficient research and evaluation, and understand technical constraints and impact of design decisions
Work with game designers to translate game system requirements into experiences
Requirements:
At least 1-2 years experience working as a UX Designer or similar role in a related field
Proficient in graphic editing and wireframing/prototyping tools such Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma
Practiced in player-centric designs; knowledgeable of usability and design principles and techniques
Strong ability to create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
Understands game systems (what is effective and what is not) and experiences.
Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative player data and derive design solutions and strategies
Is organized, structured, and a clear thinker
Mental agility and adaptability in problem solving and to understand and adapt to the ever-changing game industry landscape
Enthusiasm and clear-cut passion for playing, developing games and player experience
A team player; able to work collaboratively across various disciplines
