Responsibilities:

  • Identify UX problems and craft creative ways to solve them
  • Create, establish, and maintain clear and concise user-centric layouts and flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and both team and external-facing documentation that clearly convey ideas
  • Translate goals and constraints into compelling player-facing features and work alongside programmers, game designers, and artists to develop these features
  • Plan and organize, conduct, and prepare results and analysis for user research and testing activities
  • Present and pitch UX designs to the team, producers, leadership, and clients
  • Assist in the development of UX design processes and best practices
  • Conduct efficient research and evaluation, and understand technical constraints and impact of design decisions
  • Work with game designers to translate game system requirements into experiences

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years experience working as a UX Designer or similar role in a related field
  • Proficient in graphic editing and wireframing/prototyping tools such Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma
  • Practiced in player-centric designs; knowledgeable of usability and design principles and techniques
  • Strong ability to create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Understands game systems (what is effective and what is not) and experiences.
  • Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative player data and derive design solutions and strategies
  • Is organized, structured, and a clear thinker
  • Mental agility and adaptability in problem solving and to understand and adapt to the ever-changing game industry landscape
  • Enthusiasm and clear-cut passion for playing, developing games and player experience
  • A team player; able to work collaboratively across various disciplines
