Secret 6 Creates Art For Gargoyles Remastered
Games

Secret 6 was entrusted by Empty Clip Studios and Disney Games to re-imagine the 16-bit 1995 Gargoyles game to resemble the style of the Gargoyles Disney animated series, in creating the in-game assets, user interface, character animation, and promotional materials for Gargoyles Remastered.

Secret 6 created hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation in Gargoyles Remastered to capture the nostalgia of the Disney animated series.

To create the art for Gargoyles Remastered, our art team meticulously re-created the 16-bit characters from the Sega Genesis game, and hand-drew them in the style of the beloved Gargoyles Disney animated series. In addition to the familiar faces, our roster included characters from the game that never made an appearance in the animated series. We welcomed this challenge and were able to successfully build out several villains such as Hakon and Xanatos.

In addition to the game art, our team created hand-drawn frame-by-frame character animations for Gargoyles Remastered. We wanted to capture the essence and nostalgia of the classic game even in its new art style, so our animators worked tirelessly to ensure that the fluidity and integrity of the new game remained true to the original.

"Our product was 100% reliant on Secret 6's art. These are folks you go to when you want art done right – they check every box. They're professional and they're willing to be flexible in all aspects to produce quality art. I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't recommend Secret 6."

Gargoyles Remastered is a testament to Secret 6's ability to take a beloved property and give it new life while staying true to its roots. The game not only captures the distinct look of the 90s cartoons but also adds a modern touch that appeals to both longtime fans and new players.

It's truly a pleasure for our team to be involved in the creation of this game, as it holds a special place in the hearts of many of our leads and artists. We are immensely grateful to Empty Clip and Disney Games for their unwavering trust and support throughout this project.
